ShowClix, a fast-growing, Shadyside-based event ticketing company, is actively seeking an enthusiastic, socially focused Account Manager who can work in a fast-paced environment, likes to build relationships and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

As Account Manager, you will act as a primary point-of-contact for the company’s ticketing clients, which include live music venues, performing arts groups, museums, festival organizers, nightclubs, non-profit organizations and colleges and universities.

Our Account Managers are focused on working with and providing support to others, building and maintaining relationships, and working closely and accurately within the ShowClix ticketing system. A persuasive, teaching style of communication is required to communicate the company's policies, programs, and systems. Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as primary point-of-contact for the company’s premiere ticketing clients. Responsibilities include account setup, training on the ticketing system and support throughout the length of their contract.
  • Build and demonstrate expert knowledge of the ShowClix ticketing system to allow for effective client support. 
  • Provide assistance to members of the sales team in delivering software demonstrations and training to prospects and clients.
  • Collaborate and communicate with sales team members who sign new clients that are handed off for support. Provide regular updates on account status and communicate opportunities for new business, as they arise. 
  • Identify, and work to resolve, issues in the ticketing system by reporting to the appropriate department.
  • Report and provide input on feature requests and ticketing system enhancements that are requested by clients. 
  • Participate in quality assurance and testing of new features and functionality, enhancements and bug fixes.


Qualifications

  • Experience working in Account Management and/or for a software company is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to enhance client relationships and foster communication among ShowClix team members.
  • Excellent organization, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills needed to meet new account setup requirements and quickly handle client issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects with attention to detail and follow up.
  • Open, flowing communication is important. Must be friendly and genuinely interested in the business, agenda, and needs of others.
